About
Although Dr. Castellino was born in Panjim, Goa, he has grown up loving the hustle & bustle of Mumbai city. He obtained his MBBS degree at Terna Medical College in Navi Mumbai affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. He subsequently completed his otolaryngology residency at the Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) Hospital in Anushaktinagar under the aegis of the National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi. He has also trained for the prestigious Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Implant Otology (FIO) at the Madras ENT Research Foundation (MERF), based in Chennai under the mentorship of the world-renowned Padmashree Prof. Mohan Kameswaran.
Dr. Castellino is a surgeon par excellence with over 9 years experience working in the field of otolaryngology and his work covers all aspects of Ear, Nose and Throat diseases. His primary interest lies in the management of deafness reflecting his extensive training in field of hearing implants, ranging from bone anchored hearing aids to cochlear implants. This interest is based on a passion for rehabilitation and societal reintegration of children born with deafness.
In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Castellino has been involved in numerous free ENT check up camps across Maharashtra & Tamil Nadu. He lives in Bandra with his wife and two children. And when not in the operating room or clinic, you will find him watching movies or making music on his piano.
