The Invisible Mother
A friend sent me this story the other day and I just thought I must share this with all the moms out there. There is a lot of truth in it and I’m sure many of you will relate to the situations.
Ever felt invisible at home especially with your kids? As though the things you do and the efforts you make as a mother go unnoticed? From waking up early in the morning to cleaning the house, feeding the kids, bathing them, etc its always about how time flies and before you know it…its the end of the day. Being a mom is no joyful ride if your handling home and the kids, but God gives us all strength to go through each day with grace. So that’s how i make it to the end of the day!
I say i just cant wait till the time my kids will grow and start doing things on their own, but then i think about these precious years, how they will all go by so fast in the blink of an eye. My kids will someday grow up and go live their own lives. I donβt want my purpose to end then,so I cherish theses moments and treasure each one of them with love. Sometimes being a mom is hard & it may seem like nothing we do really matters or is even recognized. It may seem as though there are more important things that we could be doing that would make a difference in the world, but in the end, nothing compares to what we are building within the walls of our home. As mothers we should see ourselves as great builders, investing in our children years upon years of our lives.
Motherhood involves a lot of sacrifices, which ultimately brings out a superior, greater, stronger & more beautiful identity. Kids complete us and make us feel whole.
After reading this story I looked at things differently & thank my friend for sharing this with me <3 The next time you feel invisible, read the following story and remember just how important you are. This is the foundation of what you are building when no one actually sees but the fruits of it will be blissful! π
