Amazon Fashion Squad – My #KyaPehnu experience

Growing up, all through my teenage years and even until now, I have had one perpetual dilema – Kya Pehnu? The number of hours it takes has always been directly proportional to the significance of the event I’m going for.

And I used to thing that after getting married, my husband would help solve this problem by taking a quick decision for me. But his smirk and monotonous comment “Darling you look good in anything” has but made it even more difficult than before. Thankfully, today, I have gotten much better, thanks to Mumbai’s Amazon Fashion Squad.
It was a beautiful December morning, when I got the opportunity to visit the Amazon fashion squad van and have all my #KyaPehnu queries answered. It was fun to get pampered and dolled over with a makeover.
Now you may ask me what is this #KyaPehnu all about? But before I answer that let me ask you, how often in the past week have you gotten up in the morning, stood in front of your mirror, and spent 10-15 minutes trying to decide what to wear. In and out of clothes as if in a changing room at a mall, and still undecided at the end of it. Amazon.in came to my rescue with its “Amazon Fashion Squad”, consisting of a panel of experts who helped me define my own style statement. All my questions right from how to decide what to wear, to what makeup and hair styling were answered completely to my amazement and satisfaction.

The tips I got were simply amazing, and now I never have to worry about how to look my best at any occasion. It feels like a revelation. At the end of it, I realized that dressing up to ‘look perfect’ is not as hard as it may seem.
After the expert consultation I had a brunch date with my girlfriends, and so I asked the fashion squad to help me out with a look that would give me a balance between not looking too over the top, and yet not a simple plain-jane look. I was very happy with the cute side plait twist with my hair pinned up paired with a pink a-line dress, making it a simple yet elegant, classy but not loud, brunch look. And later, found that my girlfriends seemed impressed too.

The advice I received regarding experimenting with different hairdos adjusting to the occasions was enlightening. I got my make-up queries answered too, with very helpful tips on the type of face wash and cream that would be best for my skin type. I also received some excellent fashion tips from Miss Malini.
The @AmazonFashionIn Fashion Squad makeover experience was indeed one-of-a-kind and I was overwhelmingly delighted with it. It was a fun day experiencing the makeover by Amazon Fashion Squad.
Now I am confident that I know what to #KyaPehnu anytime, anywhere, anyday and anyhow! Thank you Amazon Fashion Squad!!
